Beginning this Summer #APChat will be featuring guest appearances by several practitioners who are redefining education in our schools. These individuals are practioners and experts in their field and will be providing insights to better our schools.

Eric Sheninger

Digital Leadership (August 3rd)

 

Eric Sheninger joined us to discuss digital leadership as outlined in his book, Digital Leadership. Eric is currently a Senior Fellow and Thought Leader at the International Center for Leadership Education (ICLE) and Scholastic Achievement Partners (SAP). Previously Eric served as the principal of New Milford High School in New Milford, New Jersey. He has received numerous awards including being named a Digital Principal by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP).

Brad Currie

Engaging Communities with Digital Tools (September 28th)

 

Brad Currie will be joining us on Sunday, September 28th to discuss the themes from his new book, All Hands on Deck. Brad currently serves as the Dean of Students and Supervisor of Instruction for the Chester School District in New Jersey. In 2014 Brad was named an Emerging Leader by ASCD and a finalist for the Bammy Awards. He has co-founded and moderates #SATChat, a weekly Twitter chat for educators, hosts #SATChat Radio on the Bam Radio Network, and is a founding partner of Evolving Educators, LLC, providing innovative and relevant professional learning opportunities.

Daisy Dyer Duerr

The Power of Connection (October 12th)

 

Daisy Dyer Duerr currently serves as the K-12 Principal at St. Paul Schools in St. Paul, Arkansas. Daisy has served as a Social Studies teacher, basketball coach, Assistant Principal, and Principal. In 2014 she was named a Digital Principal of the Year by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP). Daisy travels extensively as an educational speaker sharing her story of connecting a rural school through technology.
